Our Terms and Conditions

Standard terms and conditions of hire for Libertine Chauffeur undertakes to hire vehicle(s) to the client (the person booking and paying for the service) for the period of hire, under the following terms and conditions

Payment/Charges

1. The charge on your credit card statement will show as Libertine Security Solutions.
2. All quotations exclusive of VAT at standard rate and will be quoted in pounds sterling.
3. Credit card payments are subject to a 3% surcharge.
4. Car parking, congestion charges, tolls and other incidentals will be charged at cost.
5. Any variations to the journey that involves extra time or mileage may be subject to additional charges.
6. Surcharges apply to Bank Holidays, prices on request.
7. Payment must be made in advance accept for account customers..
8. All hire charges are rounded up to the next 15 minutes.

Cancellation Policy:

1. Over 48 hours: No charge. Between 24 and 48 hours: 50% charge. Less than 24 hours: Full charge
2. A cancellation reference number will be given at the time of cancellation.
3. If the passenger does not appear at the booked time and the designated pick-up point, the full fare will be chargeable.

Terms & Conditions

1. A minimum of 48 hours notice is required to guarantee an on-line booking.
2. Libertine Chauffeur will endeavour to ensure vehicle(s) arrive at the time and place requested. We cannot however accept responsibility for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as mechanical failure, traffic jams, traffic accidents or extreme weather conditions. Nor do we accept responsibility for any consequential loss.
3. The Driver will travel by the most appropriate route on the day, unless instructed otherwise by the Client, in which case any variations to the journey that involves extra time or mileage may be subject to additional charges.
4. We will endeavour to accommodate changes to a booking not specified at the time of booking, however this may not always be possible.  Variations to original journey bookings agreed between Libertine and the client may result in additional hire charges if the change involves additional mileage and/or time.
5. We allow for 10 minutes of waiting time at pick up If our driver is asked to wait in addition to this at the beginning or end of hire additional waiting time will be charged. Airport collections: unless special arrangements are requested, 1½ hours waiting time will be allowed from the time the flight has landed, thereafter waiting charges will apply.
6. Libertine Chauffeur maintains a strict non-smoking policy in all of its vehicles
7. Passengers will be refused travel if the Chauffeur becomes aware of drug, alcohol or solvent abuse prior to or during a booking.
8. Libertine does not permit the consumption of alcohol or food in vehicles, unless by prior arrangement.
9. We reserve the right to refuse entry to our vehicles to anyone who is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs or whose behaviour poses a threat to the safety of the driver, the vehicle or any other passengers within the vehicle at any time.
10. Passengers are not permitted to carry any unregistered weapons, illegal drugs or illegal material in our vehicles. Passengers must inform us at the time of booking if they wish to carry a registered weapon during the hire.
11. We further reserve the right to terminate any journey due to unreasonable or improper behaviour by any passenger.
12. If special cleaning of any vehicle is required because it has been left in an unreasonable state by a passenger/client, we reserve the right to charge the cost of cleaning to that passenger/client.
13. Clients/passengers will be liable for any damage made by them to our vehicles.
14. We reserve the right to substitute/ subcontract any vehicle or chauffeur at any time.
15. Libertine Chauffeur accepts no liability for loss damage or theft to luggage, property or personal effects carried in our vehicles.
16. Pets are not permitted in Company vehicles, guide dogs are allowed please inform us at the time of booking.
17. Our drivers will all wear a plain smart suit, unless requested otherwise.
18. All our drivers sign a confidentiality agreement.
19. Libertine Chauffeur may decline any Hire without providing reason or explanation.
20. Libertine Chauffeur is a licensed operator and complies with the appropriate provisions of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions)Act 1976, relating to Private Hire Vehicles We have full private hire vehicle insurance. We will not carry more passengers than our license or insurance permits.
21. In the unlikely event that you have difficulty in locating the driver and you do not contact the office +44 (0) 1285 700713  or the driver to advise us, and the hire does not take place, you will be charged in full, even if the passenger took alternative transport.
22. Your statutory rights are not affected by these terms and conditions.

You agree that you shall not use the Website for illegal purposes, and will respect all applicable laws and regulations. You also agree not to compromise the security of the Website or attempt to gain access to secured areas or sensitive information.

You agree to be fully responsible for any claim, expense, liability, losses, costs including legal fees incurred by us arising from any infringement of the terms and conditions set out in this agreement.

Libertine Global Solutions Ltd reserve the right to change any part of this agreement without notice and your use of the Website will be deemed as acceptance of this agreement. We advise users to regularly check the Terms and Conditions of this agreement.

Libertine Global Solutions Ltd have complete discretion to modify or remove any part of this site without warning or liability arising from such action.

Libertine Global Solutions Ltd, will under no circumstance be liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages including any loss of business, revenue, profits, or data in relation to your use of the Web site.

Nothing within this Agreement will operate to exclude any liability for death or personal injury arising as result of the negligence of Libertine Global Solutions Ltd, it's employees or agents.

All intellectual property of Libertine Global Solutions Ltd such as trademarks, trade names, patents, registered designs and any other automatic intellectual property rights derived from the aesthetics or functionality of the Website remain the property of Libertine Global Solutions Ltd.

By using the Website you agree to respect the intellectual property rights of Libertine Global Solutions Ltd and will refrain from copying, downloading, transmitting, reproducing, printing, or exploiting for commercial purpose any material contained within the Website.

The information is provided on the understanding that the Website is not engaged in rendering advice and should not be wholly relied upon when making any related decision.
